In 2006, homeschooling families in the St Louis area were beginning to rapidly increase. At this time, unbeknownst to each other, two groups of parents began to implement their vision of creating high school age soccer teams that would compete against local private and Christian schools. The girl’s team, named St Louis Patriettes, kicked off their inaugural season in the spring of 2007 .
Around 2015, the Missouri legislature approve the creation of the category of “Home School Association” by which home school programs could become part of MSHSAA. This meant that full member MSHSAA schools could accept games against homeschool teams that were registered in MSHSAA under this new designation.

The 2018 season saw several significant changes. The first was the roster of girls increased to the mid 20’s. This necessitated the creation of a Varsity “B” team, which would play games against the smaller Varsity opponents as well as against JV teams of existing opponents.

The 2018 season saw several significant changes. The first was the roster of girls increased to the mid 20’s. This necessitated the creation of a Varsity “B” team, which would play games against the smaller Varsity opponents as well as against JV teams of existing opponents.
The COVID-19 pandemic wiped out the 30 plus games that had been scheduled for the Spring 2020 season. A handful of girls graduated that year not having been able to compete their senior year in the program.
Patriettes being crowned the 2021 Spring National Home School Champions. A season ending victory at home vs Maryville Christian left the girls with an unbeaten record of 14-0-1.

The 2022 squad finished with a 13-8 record battling through some tougher competition with a team that graduated three starters, one of whom received a full ride scholarship to play soccer locally.
